Someone order a fuel pump?

Do you just install the tank by tilting it at an angle so that the fuel pump snake around the backbone rail?

Ok so the muffler will get here wednesday, which means by Sunday I should have the exhaust complete. I did plan to run the motor before I tear it back down, but my plan has changed, going to save that for reassembly, and cross my fingers (in theory no reason it shouldn't run). I am giving myself til Sept 7th to finish the exhaust, get all the 3d printed bits done, and finish welding on the frame. From Sept 8th to Oct 7th I have to refinish every component (going to bodywork the frame and tank myself, as well as do the paint), and from Oct 8th til Nov 11th to reassemble and get her to run. I plan on having her in the NYC motorcycle show at the Javits center Dec 1st, so should be easily doable. I'm also hoping to squeeze into handbuilt with this one, which is why I will by moving very show and meticulously.

No doubt!  Aside from it being loud as ___, won't it also lose some performance?

Ok.  Curiosity is getting the better of me.  Are you going to purchase a Power Commander V to remap it with a computer?  https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dynojet-power-commander-v-honda-cbr500r-cb500x-cb500f-2016-2017  Have you done this before and, if so, how difficult is it to DIY?

Looks amazing...yet again, this may have been discussed already, but what are you places for the rear frame section just behind the seat?  Are you thinking to make a hoop to mach the seat profile or is this still in planning phase?

Were you able to keep the same volume in the oil sump pan with the newly shaped one?

Hey anyone know if etp copper is hard enough to be used as wheel spacers? I think its the same hardness as aluminium, i was thinking of do the engine spacers and wheel spacers out of it. I am also going to used polished copper washers on everything as an accent. Hey, gotta do something with my new lathe  :o ;D

Not sure what EPT is, but copper is soft.
Make aluminum or steel spacers, and slip copper pipe over it, either press fit or loctite.

Did a bit of poking around on your Early Pregnancy Test Copper, yeah I know ETP not EPT...

Search for a  "CopperAlliance.eu " site about ETP copper and you will find some very good info.
It has a Rockwell hardness of 45 (very soft) to 155 (which is very hard), and is not to  difficult to machine (only a 20% machinability rating), as well as prone to stress cracking unless post machining you stress relieve it by 150-200C heat treat cycle.  It will anneal at 450-600C so, no worries of annealing it unless you have a heat treat furnace.  You cannot harden ETP copper (or any copper I believe through heat treat). It will not become harder over time nor will it really have a shelf life.

I know it's been a bit, but my current occupation (taking care of my 1 year old) monopolizes my life, so not much has been done. The side covers have been 3d printed, as well as the intake. I also got most of the bodywork done on the tank. I'm hoping starting January I can get  back to it, as I want to submit it for the handbuilt show.

Nice work!  Do you have much ground clearance?  Looks like with the exhaust it is pretty small on that side.  That could be a challenge on large speed bumps.
Once you anneal etp copper as recommended I would be curious an its hardness.
