Topic: Added a BEAUTIFUL 750 to my stable.....MINT

Hope all is well.

Ive a acquired a few bikes this year and my current stable is:

1973 Honda CB 750 which I picked up (in pristine condition) about 2 months ago
1973 Honda CB 500F which I picked up a week after the 750
1977 Yamaha XS650 which I have to say is my FAVORITE of the bunch
I had a 350F which I had built and spent a lot of money on, but gave it to someone I felt deserved it.

So here they are. I will be looking for advice on the 750 in the future. I used to want to chop up bikes, however I am now inclined to keep them stock with only slight modifications, like exhausts, adn there for rejetting the carbs, handlebars and other cosmetic changes.

Im fond of the 750 too but the yamaha, that bike is a dream. Also, due to the power to weight ratio, and some slight engine mods the previous owner did, its faster than the 750.

The CB 750 and 500 look really nice!
CB750: 4-4  exhasut would be perfect which will make the bike even more special compared with modern bikes. It was opposite in the 70-80's where most of us lost our 4-4.
I had to buy a new set due to my modifications >36 years ago.

I have the actuall original 4-4 pipes but I think they make the bike look heavy and slow. I was going to put cone shortys on either side but im going to leave it as is, even though I HATE the straight pipes the PO left on there.

Yep. Beware. He says "I will be looking for advice for the 750 in the future." What he really means is "I will ask a question, and if I do not agree with the advice I will just say you don't know me. Your idea is stupid.  And me, me, me, me, I, I, I, Me, me."

Actually the most I would do to the 750 is change the exhaust and rejet. So not much room for controversy at all but thanks. I have grown to like stock bikes and will keep them as such, making only the slightest superficial changes.
