91 goldwing three wheeler Q?
« on: October 16, 2016, 10:52:37 AM »
My sister is looking at an 80,000 mile 91 Goldwing three wheeler for $8K. she never showed serious interest in bikes but this  year visited her Ex in Sturgis that has a new Harley 3 wheeler. She signed up for a motorcycle class so at least she's trying to do it right.  Anyway she wants me to check it out is there anything special I should look at while checking it out? I'd ask if it has new timing belts, other than that my knowledge is limited to working my 79 GL. she says it's been continuously maintained, does the price sound feasible?

That sounds very high to me for a '91 with that kind of mileage. There aren't a lot of trikes on local Craigslist right now, but the few that are there are harley's with half the miles for the same or less money.

I looked but only found higher priced ones on the Quad Cities Craigs lists. I'll check again.  I assumed the $1500 one was a misprint.
