new from Southern Ohio!
« on: October 19, 2016, 03:28:15 PM »
have been lurking on the forums for quite some time and figured I should introduce myself. Picked up a 77 750K about six months ago and have dealt with 360s, still own 2, for about 5 years so old Hondas are about all I've rode and worked on.interested to see if their are any people who deal with parts in the area and reading up on things all across the forum. will post pictures of the bikes soon! Seems like an awesome community and a  great place to read and expand my knowledge.. lol. sitting in my little storage shed. ignore the trash..

Hey there jcld93, I spent some time in Fayette county when I was a kid. The Big Red Machine was tearing it up, but later on when I went to see Pete Rose extend his batting streak, he hit into two double plays. :-\  ::)
I have been to Western Hills Honda in Cincinnati, I don't know if Terry is still there, but it's a top notch place for vintage parts. I have heard of a big salvage yard in Chillicothe, but never been there. Rusty Riders in Newark has been mentioned here at sohc4 before.
I always liked riding in the rolling hills of southern Ohio, just a bit south of Fayette county and made it there a few times with my CB. Where are you at?

I'm actually in the most southern part of Ohio. A town called Chesapeake. I'm sure you all have heard of the drug epidemic in Huntington, WV. Just right across the river from me. I frequent Lexington, KY and Cincinatti or Columbus every once in a while. Thanks for letting me know. I'll have to stop By there next time I'm up that way. Actually picked up my 3rd 360 in Chillicothe about four years ago.

Welcome.  I had a 360 myself for about 5 years - great, fun little bikes.

Another Buckeye! Or in other words, another useless nut...  :o  ;)  ;D

Having been raised in the great state of Ohio myself, I can get away with that.  :D

Welcome aboard!  8)

Go Bucks!

Welcome!
Raised in the shadow of Mt Nittany here in central Pa, but hit Ohio for the new bike expo (Cleveland) and VMD at Mid-Ohio. Have friends in Cincy, Columbus, and Kettering.
A trans-buckeye ride is in the works for 2017 - love those flat, sweeping turns along 70 between Wheeling and Columbus.

the 750 is still stock.. i havent had much time to play as i just became a father about 3 months ago. Picking up bits and pieces here, hoping to do little mods on it before riding season is back.
