Topic: K0 Engine Case color

I can't find any info on the color for an early diecast engine case. Is it the darker cast aluminum or the brighter polished aluminum?

The sandcast and diecast engine were painted with the same shade of "silver" paint. I have restored multiple of both types!

The closest match that i have found is duplicolor high head engine paint "Cast Aluminum 1650". Of course, you will need a high heat primer under it.

Thanks for that. I actually like the darker cast color but will go with the original..
