Well done, nothing like breaking through onto that podium for the first time.
I'm sure there will be more to come.

Cheers,
Brian

Ah congratulations, well done. Yes your bike is sweet, great looking package.

How did Yossef do?
Cant say enough about riccardo's progress this year, in last year's race here he was lapping 10 secs slower i think, he's now a solid front runner with the oldest tech bike in the 750 class! am green with envy... :)
And to think that last year he was hard at work keeping up with me...

I sucked quite a bit brent. pulled the GPZ out of hibernation just days before the race after a year of not riding it, changed oil, some air in the tires and that was it.
then in 1st qualifying I had fuel starvation, sorted, the 2nd qualifying was wet, so started the race from dead last grid post.... In front of me on the grid was a bit of mayhem, two riders lined up at the same grid spot, red light went off with them still arguing!... so took me a bit of time to get my head around this mess by race direction. Started to slowly enter into a rhythm but it was enough only for 6th place out of 9 in my class, only on the last lap i equaled my lap time from last year which was nothing to write home about.... oh well, there always next year no?

FOLKS!

After 2 years of struggles, I finally got a 3rd place last weekend at Misano! I'm happy as clam, as it was the race with the most participants of the season (15 in my class) and I was lapping the same time as the Ducati TT2s, the same guys that a few months ago seemed light years far away. Bike behaved magnificently, before the race we had reduced the offset to 100 mm and it has worked wonders, seems like another bike.

Pics or it dind't happen :-)

Wow, this bike is stunning! Congrats as well, that is awesome. Misano is a wonderful track.

Thanks!!!

Well we did put A LOT of effort this year, reducing weight, changing suspension, improving carburation and so on.
I went to the gym 3 times a week since january for example...

TOTALLY WORTH IT :-)
