Hi everyone from New Zealand.Just getting back into bikes after many years away from them. Back in the 70s I used to race a CB500 then later a Z1000 and GSX1100.
I'm rebuilding two bikes at the moment, a XS650 and a 71 CB750. The 750 I got in 1990 but it was missing a lot of parts as it had been pulled to bits in 79.It sat for all this time in my shed while I had other projects on the go.
recently though I started to look at what I had and because it had been pulled to bits so early in its life all the bits that are there are original so while I'm not normally too fussy about keeping things original this time I will. With the possible exception of the exhausts. One set I looked at from Japan would cost me $6000.00 by the time I got them to New Zealand and thats just not going to happen.
Also into Muscle cars ,hot rods, classic cars but mostly stuff from the 60s and 70s
