Buy a good "Helicoil" kit, a much better insurance policy in my opinion.

....and in mine too. It's worked for years.
Time sert work fine too. They have survived several assemblies and disassemblies better then the helicoil in threads that are frequenly used.
I'm told that the kibblewhite 5mm valve kit has springs with less pressure than std race springs. Also good for the threads.
Cams with relatively short duration and high lift will cause more stress, right? Or is it anything in real life?
DP315 has not that high lift and has a little bit longer duration. 0.3mm (0.12") in valve lash must be healthy too. (I set my other cams to 0.1mm In/ 0.15mm Ex
A valve cover with 8 bolts will sooner or later find its home on top of my engine
I have an old dark grey with welded bolt holes from a K0 in need of TLC. It has JB weld around the welds that need to be removed. Grind and eventually seal if needed, but in alu look.
