Does anyone know where I can buy a good 'motorcycle specific' "Buzz Box" brand continuity/points tester?? I had one for yrs.,bought it from K&L Supply(it was old school Made in Japan  ::) and was solid, compact construction w/ an excellent buzzer and LED light and 2 alligator clips for the red and black wires) and it was great for Quickly setting static timing/points to get them close until I hooked up my strobo. I left the Buzz Box sit in storage w/ batteries in it over a yr...

The tool was made by Kowa Seiki in Japan and said "Timing Tester Aggressive"

I don't know how much damage your unit sustained, but I've had good results with Tarn-X for removing the mess from leaky batteries.  Doesn't hurt plastic or circuit boards, and gets all the crud out.
Go metric, every inch of the way!
