Lol the other joke here was that if you don't wear underwear for long enough any pair of jeans will stand up on their own.

I've been wearing these for years - nothing wrong with them.

They make good high quality denim products - although I think they took a hit from the economic downturn, last pair of Defenders I bought didn't have good sizing on them.  Their quality control may be failing.

As for leather - I wear Fox Creek leathers.

I wear Dickies 874s - comfy, keep the wind out, they keep a nice crease down the front - don't look road haggard when you stop, and only $20

Would have "liked" if it were possible. Many of my "office pants" are Dickies.

Same here. I rarely wear jeans anymore, only "real" dress pants are for my wedding/funeral suit. They're just great all purpose clothes.

WARNING... You dont want to slide down the road in Dickies.
I went down on the flattrack wearing Dickie work pants. Got a bad friction burn, as well as smacking my knee hard... Took a really long time to heal, due to the burn.. Got infected too.
Of course the pants didnt get a hole, but all the heat went right thru into my skin
I think i would have come out better in jeans.

Plastic pants suck

I still have a scar where some jr. high football pants got grassburned into my thigh.
Wouldn't have been so bad if it weren't during a botched qb sack in a regular practice day.

  • Saver of unloved motorcycles.
I too got some Denim burns when I found an uneven edge of pavement, I instantly learned the meaning of tank slapper and high side.  It even burned me even through a denim insulated jacket. hip, knees, knuckles and elbows, no position to lay in where I wasn't on a burn.  I saved my expensive riding glasses from falling out of my bubble shield at the expense of my knuckles. lol.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.

I think the piece we are missing the most is the belt that went around the rider , with loop handles for the passenger to hang on to....

I hope it has a quick release to ditch the tagalong if they act up!
