Are all of the tach and speedo cables interchangeable between years?

I have a 78K and the cables are too long (CORRECTION: I have a different lower speedo).

Anybody have the lengths of  cb450 or cb 350 Tach and speedo cables?

thank you for any info.

the ends are interchangeable.  Euro bars are about 2" shorter than stock bars if I remember correctly
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.

Have I misunderstood the question?
Tacho and speedo cables are independent of the handle bar. Lenght of fork make a difference on the speedo cable
I got a speedo cable to a CB650 when my broke. I needed one quickly and my local dealer had a very old one on the shelf that fitted my CB750K6 perfectly.

Tacho and speedo cables are independent of the handle bar.

+1

Most tachs and speedos are mounted on the top tree...

Oh sorry...I have a cb450 Black Bomber headlight bucket...it's way lower than the stock gauges

What shorter cables could fit? Am I wrong to think I have never seen the length of these cables listed?

They are all interchangeable between models but I wish they would list the length!

Shorter tacho cables I route over the lower triple tree, longer ones I route around under the lower triple tree...
