Bill - Open the Yahoo app on your phone. Look under the "menu" for Manage Settings. Re-enter your password there and see if it takes. If you continue having problems, PM me and I will help you directly offline. (I have an elderly mum who torments me endlessly with computer questions, so you should be a walk in the park  ;) )

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Okay, we're almost there. You are trying to connect to Yahoo mail using Straight Talk, on a ZTE Android Cell Phone Version 5.1  Model Z936L. The only blanks left to fill are:

>Are you using an app that came with the phone, or have you downloaded Yahoo's mail app, or are you using a browser (Safari?) to navigate to the Yahoo site and trying to check your mail through the web browser?
>Have you checked Yahoo's site for assistance?
>If you are using an app on the phone, can you post your pop and smtp (or imap) server settings?

Just don't post your e-mail address and password here though!  ;)

Just got through loading the Yahoo Mail App and everything seems a "Go"! So, I appreciate the input and patience with me as well. Looks like I am back in business, once again. Thanks All.  8) ;)

Cal, I certainly appreciate it, but it seems like I am good to go, again. But I will certainly keep you in mind, should I have another issue pop up. I appreciate it Sir.  ;)

I agree, especially when things seem to go so right, for so long and suddenly, a glitch!
Then, I try all I know to do, which isn't much and reach out for help. But, I tend to reach out to folks like you all, on here, as I have gotten some incredible advice, help and such, from "The Family".   8) ;) Catch you later on,  BIll ;)

Bill, many times a password change on your Yahoo acct requires that same if you are not requiring yourself to enter your password everytime you want to check your email.  Just have  to change the saved password on the phone if you are using it automagically login like most people.  Usually it complains and asks for the password after failing and it is simple on most programs to update the saved password.

Do use a password to access your phone and any of its apps or information...don't want to make it easy for identity theft in addition to lost phone if that were to occur.

Learning to backup your data on a cloud or pc so if the phone has a problem you won't lose contacts and photos.

Glad to hear it is solved.
