Thanks fellas. Appreciate the input.  David, you are correct.  The fairing did need tilted back.  I caught that while I was posting.  The idea was to keep the graphic continuous from tank into fairing. I can also lower the fairing and headlight assembly a bit, but am monitoring travel in front spring.  I may put in a bit tighter spring with progressive rate that will allow me to go a bit lower and get the lines perfect.  But for now I am being a bit precautious.

I am glad I did not get talked out of the fairing  :)  It works really well actually.  I hope the shocks will be here today.  I am going to check the static timing this evening.  I think the carbs are pretty close, but should have a bit more pickup in regards to acceleration.

It looks better titled back.  The early mock-ups, in which it was canted forward, were a little awkward. Not my particular cut of tea (personally, I love it without the fairing), but it's growing on me.

You didn't here it from me.

I went with taller shocks on my bike too.  I had to get some different shocks because the first set I bought hit the chain...go figure.  Bought some taller shocks thinking I need the extra clearance anyway.  I'll soon find out if I made a good choice.

Looking good!

Hey Bud,
I needed a bit more clearance.  These worked out pretty good.  Have not had them out yet as it is raining and cold here.  But soon my friend. Soon.  I have been tweaking the little stuff that typically follows an assembly.

Those look nice. I don't wanna complain too much about the snow because I don't want a dry summer but I'd really like to try running mine on a short ride now that it started.

This one is pretty much finished.  I may add a seat in the future if it sticks around.  Put about 20 miles on it today.   Love riding it.   Ton of fun.  Thank you everyone who helped me along the journey.

I recently picked up another 76 SS frame and motor.  I have almost everything to build a roller.  I will step up the game a bit more on next one.  I will start a new thread for it soon.   For now.  The last photos I will share that I take.  Photographer soon to do it right.

yep, anyone would, whether 24 or 74.  This is why you should not use clip on/clubman bars with stock pegs.
If it works good, it looks good...
