CB750/K2 Muffler Sticker

Does anyone know where the warning sticker goes on the muffler. A photo of the sticker on an original muffler would be great.

Mike. I have copies of most of the stickers for the K series bikes, but I'm unaware of a 'warning' sticker for the mufflers. What does it say, do you know?

It says..."Caution, do not place stickers here, They'll melt" ;D
Sorry....couldn't resist.
Paul.
It hurts to admit when you've made mistakes, But when the're big enough, the pain only lasts a second

It says "This Honda exhaust system is manufactured single unit designed to eliminate excessive noise and give the best performance under normal conditions .Modifications will affect tuning and decrease performance"      It is in the same style as the air pressure sticker that goes on the rear mudguard. My guess is it goes on the lower right muffler on the inside of the seam. It came with a set of stickers from Reproduction Decals in Canada

Mick. Guess what? She don't go on a muffler! How about on the top of the right side swing arm, just inside the triangular brace and level with the tyre (that's tire for you.) You wanna foter - I have one. Gimme yer e-mail address and I'll slip it to ya.

Sorry Mike. One should not assume that everyone on this site is of the northern latitudes, should one? So to recant my previous posting, make that "tyre" again. As if you haven't already found out, I've e-mailed you 4 photos. Two are the original sticker (one is inverted), one is the photo from my 750/4 'bible' of the sticker in position on the swing arm, and the last is my machine (showing off) indicating the location of the sticker. Getting cool now, eh? Just right for a good ride but any cooler and it starts to make it hard to get up in the morning. Cheers. Spear
