hello everyone. so glad i found this forum.so by chance i came across a 73 CB750 for almost nothing its in rough shape but i want to do her up as a brat style bike anyway. it looks like one of the other owners did some cool stuff with her she has a 4 into 1 exhaust a oil pressure gauge an oil radiator and many other aftermarket parts.

This is  my bike as I got her. Not much right know but hope it's cool when I am done with her. Just got my tank that I ordered off eBay it's in good shape no real rust on the out side the inside looks like it is just starting to get a little surface rust. Any suggestions on how to get rid of that before it becomes an issue. I will try to get some pics of the tank in a few days.

Your frame. Has had some tubing and the brace cut. Out under the tank.
Can be fixed, some run them like that.  I cut for access to the top end.

Yeah I noticed that too. Figured I would weld in removable bars there so I could have the easy access and still maintain some of the frames rigidity. Here is a pic with the new tank . I got out my high-powered flash light and looked in it again and it's not rust in it just some sediment that I will need to clean out.

I make a weldless kit.. But first step is to weld in new tubes and make a brace.
 Then cut the new tubing..

Wow that looks awesome.how much are they? I think I have the same air filter with my bike as is on yours but the rubber on mine is hard as a rock. So if I can get new rubber I'll clean it up and use it.

Yes, that is a vintage Henry Abe air filter that can sell for good money on eBay if in great condition. Have no idea where to find replacement rubber.

welcome  Your bike has some neat old parts.  That blue frame reminds me of one I used to have.  You can see pictures here.

Mine was an early k2.  Have you checked your frame numbers yet?

Looks like a 73-76 motor or at least the head.
Got a front view of the pipe ?
I think the rubbers in the aircleaner are just the stacks out of the stock airbox.. I replaced the foam in mine with sheet foam from i think UNI..

When I looked up the numbers on the frame and engine they both said they were 73. I think the front fork and brake are off a 69 or so. It has the t bracket. No picture of the front yet but will try to get some tomorrow.here are a few more of it though.
