Spidermans bike. ?
« on: November 14, 2016, 06:42:05 pm »
Now i consider this a Kawasaki based bike, because it is based on or derived from with many changes.
So i asked a Kawi fellow how many Kawi parts were on it and he could not answer..so I said name just three and he couldnt.
So now I am curious, looks like the valve cover is, and what else ?? I cant tell , doubt it is a lot of internals ?
I bet a certain member on here has a pretty good idea..

Only billet cases can hold the power they make.....for a while.

Pretty much all billet parts on the old one and the new one.
The old one, that blew the top off, was a "Puma/Kawasaki".
Seriously doubt if even the valve cover was a Kawasaki part.

New one has a MTC big block. Not sure about the head.
Valve cover on the new one doesn't look OEM to me either.
Not sure about the origin of the new lower but definitely billet.

Looks like a Vortex 2 head to me.

I wrote that at first then had second thoughts.
Maybe the backward installation fooled me.
I think the intake spigots have been modified if a Vortex.

Larry's bike would be considered a Suzuki. For years it ran the 16 valve GS1150 head. He now runs special V&H cylinder heads machined to fit backwards.
