Just to clear things up..I didn't name it the "Million Dollar CB"...the parts manager from the Honda parts dealership did. He did do it about 20 yaers ago when he was at a different dealer. Frank deserves all the credit!

Extremely nice bike. All of the external modifications are very tastefully done.

Beauty, Mike!  You should be extremely proud -- especially when riding.

So, Mike, care to give us a list of modifications you've done to the bike? I'm interested in knowing about it.

Thanks Art. I've some good luck purchasing some parts for engine. Got a great deal on a 78F clutch assembly which is much better than early units. Plenty of associated transmission parts in excellent condition as well. Just to let you know...I have a rod bolt stretch guage to use when installing Carrillo or Falicon rods. I wouldn't do it any other way! ;)

I love the seat and the pipe. Did you make those or have them made or buy them somewhere?. If so where? Your bike is very well done by the way, congrats.  ;D

The seat is a 78F2 base pan and foam that I sent to Sargent's and had them modify it per my instructions. The pipe is a Hindle which isn't available anymore. It's been coated by HPC too.

One of the best things about Mr. Rieck is his enthusiasm for helping to make your bike as nice as his own. Having taken a look at his CB, I can't believe it's taken this long to be recognized as an outstanding example. I hope my bike looks half as good after I've had it 35 years. (Of course by that time I probably won't be able to tell)

Congrats Sir!
