RuckyOne...Thank you for the compliments.  I am on the dark side now.  Retired just over a year ago.

David...That is sort of the plan.  Getting both of the girls together this summer and have them help each other with getting comfortable.  My daughter is a bit more of a daredevil than the wife so there will be some testiness between them.  I absolutely can not stand to ride two up if I am the pilot.  I just do not like the feeling of having someone right behind me.  Gear is always in use when I ride and I have a pair of JR mesh pants that I wear over my work clothes when commuting.  The wife wouldn't ride unless she is with me so no need for cases.

Bike will look better without them, but sometimes you have to have utility in mind as well.  People will steal anything these days and in areas with drug problems it is even worse...

A sohc4 member shared he had a side cover to his bike stolen at a bike show!  Ballsy move by some thief and he should lose his if caught...

That would be me.  Some asshat stole one of my sidecovers at IMS back in 2009.  Thankfully (looking back), not a custom painted one.  It still pissed me off that a fellow motorcyclist would do that.  I would have love to have caught the thief.

What Don doesn't know is that it was probably one of his many fans who stole the side cover....not to be destructive but to have a memento from one of Don's award-winning and world-famous bikes.  ;D  It's probably hung on a wall somewhere right next to a framed and signed photo of Elvis or something.
