Topic: Daytona Brand Fork Brace

     Don't know if the image will appear or not, but I have a fork brace, that I bought a few years back and did not even think about what it might fit  And when I got it, I realized that I didn't have anything that would be needing a 60mm fork brace.  Gonna check that part out, as soon as I post this. It has been "Garage Art" all this time. SMH, My Brain must have still been asleep that day, that I bought this. SMH.

       equals 180.975 mm. Thanks, Frank. So, now I am wondering what bike(s) it would work on?

It's hard to tell from that photo how it mounts.  Does it have pinch bolts?

       If you will look closely, at the left side of the brace, I think you will see where The end piece separates. There are 2 bolts that, once removed, a piece comes off of each side of the brace, leaving a half circle on end, so you tilt it, put it between the fork legs and bolt on the 2 half circle pieces (making sure the brace is level and where you want it and tighten the bolt)s.

So it measures 60 mm in the holes..measure beside the slit, to the far side on other side of the slit..might have closed up a mm or two..
 The other one is likely 180mm .easy to be out a mm with the tape.

           I'll give it a look tomorrow, Frank. Kinda wasted presently, late going to sleep last night and got up to early, as I hate laying in bed, while the day moves on. Just me, always been that way. But, I did measure with a caliper (which I think is fairly accurate. I'll post up tomorrow, when I get it checked.  Thanks you, for your input here and everyone else as well.

         Or does it go back to being "Garage Art", on the wall? It looks nice enough, just would look better on a bike, than on a wall.

Did a quick search and found KTM has a model with 60mm fork tubes..I have a set of Husqvarna forks that are 45 and they seem large, can't imagine 60mm....Larry

           But This goes on the upper portion of the fork legs though. I think I might have mislead you all, in the beginning, but this does go on the legs. And I don't know if there is a chart anywhere, with that info on it. I do know that the '80' DOHC750 Four is out, as is the '80 CB650, because, even if they had the right size fork legs, they aren't perfectly round on the outside. There is a ridge on the front and back of each leg, that goes from top to bottom.

I got it Bill...   60mm fork legs, now they would be huge....

            LOL, Didn't want to mislead anyone, ya know? Yeah, I hear you, for sure.
