Wanted: CB550 CAD frame model / 3D Scan
« on: December 01, 2016, 05:58:14 PM »
Just wondering if anyone would have a CAD model of a 550 frame?

I plan to do some mods to the frame and this would be helpful for some conceptual work. Would save me alot of time if someone has done this already?

Even some scaled 2D drawings would be very useful..

On a side note I attempted to 3D scan my entire bike last year. I only recently trimmed up the files and stitched them together. Its a good starting point but the quality isn't the best to be very accurate..(attached a pic if anyones interested.)

That render looks in better shape than some bikes I've seen on Craigslist.

Yes, I'm bumping an old thread.

Hi Rosewood. Did you ever get anywhere with your scan? I've been looking to do the same thing.
