I heard the news of a 40 car freeway pileup in michigan that killed 3 people.

Atmospheric scientists are predicting some sort of polar vortex redux that will put north america into a bitter cold winter.  Something akin to the snowmageddon the northwest experienced 8 years ago.

My old man just had his genny replaced when the fookin thing caught on fire.  Gas line had cracked and it was under warranty.  He usually runs ethanol free in the genny so I have no idea what could have causes the line to fail.
Either way, the fire forced him to rebuild the little genny shed "doghouse".  So be careful with your genny use my fellow sohcheads!

Winter storm watch now, we are facing 5-9" here in east Michigan through Monday am. Probably a lot more in west Michigan. Lake Michigan is several degrees warmer than usual, and it is gonna spew lake effect snow until it cools down and freezes over.
I saw a big snowblower roll out of Sears this morning, mine is buried under bicycles and kid toys right now.  :(

Yep good ole' lake effect over here to the west, just picked up a trout and a couple of perch outa my front yard.   ;)

Just got through an early summer {first friggin day of summer}, heatwave... First 10 days over 90F with wild storms and high humidity in the 90% + range...  Whats snow look like.... :o

I have lived here a looooong time, and I have heard and seen it rain cats and dogs, but I have never ever heard that it can snow perch and trout! :o

Got a feed Ken, only went local for bream and flathead {coochiemudlo island} , got a couple of nice bream just over 40cm's and busted off 4 times..!!, not sure what it was but it didn't want to get caught, was only using 8lb line... ;)
PS, should have taken a squid jig... 8)
