Hello All

Just found this forum and joined.  My first bike back in college was a 1973 Honda CB 350 Four in Candy Bacchus
Olive.  Since then I have owned many bikes.  Today I have several Harleys (2010 Screamin Eagle Street Glide, 2005 Screamin Eagle VROD, 2001 Heritage Softail Classic) and a Can AM Spyder RT.

I recently sold my 1980 Wideglide shovelhead and have been missing an older bike.  For several years, I have been thinking about getting another 73 CB350 Four.  Well, on Saturday I picked up one just like my first bike!  Will get pics up soon.  Haven't gone thru it yet but it is running and pretty complete.  Plan to clean it up, update it a little and ride it from time to time.  Don't have plans for a complete restore yet but plan to do research on here first.  First order of business is the front brake.  The lever just swings back and forth.  Master cylinder must be stuck.

Anyway, thanks in advance for all the information and I look forward to getting reacquainted with my old friend and some of you!  I have a lot to learn as I didn't know much at all when I had the bike originally!

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of it's victim may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated, but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C.S. Not far at all. Finding a lot of good info here. Looking forward to learning more. Technically the bike is a Christmas present from my wife even though I picked it up and stored in garage. Just trying to learn more and think about what I want to do with it. Most likely keep close to original with a few modern upgrades but we will see.

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!

If it sounds like I know what I'm talking about, it's because I cut and pasted from someone else.
