I'm curious. Why six mounting holes?

Allows adjustable ride height.  Middle is stock.

All this progress in a month! Great inspiration for my 400F. Was hoping by the time I got to page 4 of this thread the frame would have been painted  ;D looking forward to seeing that! That swingarm too, nice!

Frame is in last coat of primer.  I'll let it cure then sand then it's ready to paint!  Sorry for the horrible quality of the pic.

It didn't seem like you had the side stand rot to deal with. I do like the relocation of the side stand, I think I'll have to do the same when I replace my bottom rail. Awesome work!

Thankfully it was an Arizona bike so the rail was very solid.  Ended up moving it up to where the 350f sidestand mounts.  Helps having one of each for reference.

How bad is the root on your rail?

Seeing yours I'll probably move it, it looks better up there and out of the way. Is that a TTR400 kit, for the side stand you installed?

Funny you should ask on the side stand.  It's an adjustable one for a rc51 from Scotts MC.

Only difference between them to make it work, had to widen the bracket to stop the side stand about 1/8 inch.  Just built it up with weld, and smoothed it out.  Light and adjustable.

Also your poor frame rail

Yeah, it's pretty buggered but it's fixable. I'll look into that side stand, I like it probably directly related to the facts that the RC51 is on my wanted list along with an '03 954rr.  :D
