See how the clear settles down in a few days before you decide to sand and reclear. Sanding that baby down for reclear will be no picnic. Easy to blow through edges...then ya have to spot in repairs....Ugh. I think 4 coats should do it. Worse case scenario may be, sand down the more visible sections of frame and then buff.
So, with the Nason he should have applied 8 coats of clear, if he originally only applied 4, since Nason clear is not a high solids clear (like a PPG product)?
As the clear cures it will shrink and that may cause the flake to start showing the edges that are standing up, right?
