Would be nice if you could maybe whittle it down to 275..  :o
I saw in some old documents that kaz's z1 beaters were about that.  My goal is 330 wet.

That would be good. You would need some expensive metals to get the weight very low.

Alright got to where I'm happy with the sprocket cover.  It's going to get vapor blasted like the rest of the motor is.  The holes I spaced around the structural bracing on the backside.  I'm happy with how it turned out. Also did the last layers for the seat pan.  Going to trim it tomorrow and put some nut serts in it and off to Chicago to get some leather and alcantara

Gotta love that cover!  Nice job!

Quick update.  Side covers went out today to vapor-blasting.net, seat pan went out also.  My shocks should be here today or tomorrow and my head arrives Wednesday.  Last night finally got around to cleaning the shop before I get back on the cb175.

Yeah man, the black! Even with the polished swinger. The shocks provide the balance right now. Could change when the paint comes around but as it sits, I like the black.

Shocks black, forks black. Symmetry of the suspension systems. Enough debate already, get the thing running!

Dropped the fork legs to get powder coated this morning.  Ended up decided not to do the lower triple.  Too nice of a piece to cover in powder.
I'm back to body work and will put the head on Wednesday.  Next up is cam and rockers!
