I think the last thing on earth I'd want under my ass is an Antigravity battery. I've seen many fires start because of those. Just a heads up.

I've run about eight of them with no problems.  Everyone ive heard of was caused by over charging it.  With the Rick's R/R I'm good there.

Most of those failures occurred because the bike had the stock regulator and rectifier and a short likely precipitated a runaway charge and explosion/fire.  You should be fine with a solid state R/R.  If you are that concerned about Antigravity as a brand, buy a Shorai.

Speed cell has really trick stuff. I spoke to them a year ago. They will essentially make a battery for your application -- and with a meter built in.  Mostly race-oriented applications, from what I understand.

I haven't seen that fuse block before.  Is it a conventional blade-style system or an electronic fuse system like the Motogadget?

It is made by Eastern Beaver and uses mini fuses.  I really like it.  Has two fused 12+, 6 switched, and 8 grounds.

Did you test fit your tank after locating the coils where you did? It seems to me that they will interfere with the tunnel badly.

Yes sir.  Fits like a glove.  Was a tight fit on height of the coils.  Reusing the original brackets put me right where I needed.

What are the switch functions on the left?  Horn and hi-lo?

The left switch toggles between the functions on the tach/speedo and the the dial switch controls the output of the headlight

Holy crap. I thought you mis-spoke when you said headlight dimmer but apparently NOT. I don't think I've ever seen that before for a headlight.

Yeah it was really hard to find a led light that wasn't 5" deep with good output and a dimmer or high/low setting.  Clearwater has been making a few models for the adventure bikes and I'm very impressed so far. Gonna have to add a set to my ktm

This is looking so tight. It is one of those builds that has been educational and full of great ideas.

Finally wrapping up some customer bikes and got to the home stretch for wiring.  From the coil ground forward is done.  Also get setup with speedcell as a dealer and had to redo my electronics tray to account for the little bit of size difference. Also got my stator back from being rewound and rebuild my starter.

Whatever the cost, it's awesome. I know what I spent on my 450, so I can tell this build hasn't been cheap. Oh, well, it's only money. My employer gives me more every 2 weeks. .

I believe Speed Merchant and Suicide Machine still use those models on their flat track Hooligan race bikes.  I think that Jake Gagne uses the smaller Superbike model on his CBR1000RR in MotoAmerica racing.  Obviously, it helps when you are a sponsored rider and not just a customer.  I spoke to the guys at Speed Cell.  Super helpful -- they will build a battery to fit your parameters.  Not cheap, but killer stuff.
