Finally wrapping up some customer bikes and got to the home stretch for wiring.  From the coil ground forward is done.  Also get setup with speedcell as a dealer and had to redo my electronics tray to account for the little bit of size difference. Also got my stator back from being rewound and rebuild my starter.

A $20,000 CB400, I hope this is a labor of love.

$20000!?  Oh man I hope not.  This has been a labor of love.  Just wait till I start my h2 build that is happening after this.  that one is going to make this one seem pretty boring I think.

Whatever the cost, it's awesome. I know what I spent on my 450, so I can tell this build hasn't been cheap. Oh, well, it's only money. My employer gives me more every 2 weeks. .

Thankfully it's just the angle of the pic.  This baby is straight as an arrow.  Sorry to hear that on your 550, there are some places that straighten frames if you need any names, let me know.

[/quote]thanks and good to hear.  that 550 frame is so bent that you had to turn handle bars full lock to push it in a straight line and has already become a tubing donor.  I bought a titled parts bike and swapped everything good over to another frame.  The parts bike cost $200, so I doubt it would have been worthwhile to straighten the original.  It was a friend of mine who got t-boned hard.  He escaped with only a broken arm.
If it works good, it looks good...

Alright harness is done to the battery tray and stator wires to R/R are done.  Next I'll mount the components and start making those connections to all the components in the tray.  So close to the end!

Almost have all of the wires connected to the fuse block.  All that left is starter solenoid, headlight relay and my 3 large gauge wires.

This baby is just about ready to breathe fire.

Fixed the stuck float and got the dyna ignition dialed in.  She's a runner and it finally moved under power for the first time since about 1988!  Got some little stuff left and will dial it in but I'm soo pumped!

You might want to give your exhaust a quick but thorough wipe down with Acetone too before you for a lengthy ride. It will clean the grease and oils off before they burn in as tarnished marks on the stainless.

Those are K&n filters on the bike.

Yep fenders are coming along.  Tanner matic is doing a carbon front and I'm going to swap the number plate and build a inner rear out of carbon.  Probably be a month before that's all done
