I FOUND A plater in Rock Island IL that would do restorative zinc plating. I'll try to get the name for you. Its very reasonable IIRC.
There's a place in TX that does restorative CB77 engines. My engine still turns over, but it doesn't matter to him. They do a 1st size overbore, repaint everything, head and valve job, etc. A bit pricey, but I want a near 100pt restoration for mine (as I can't ride it). Bruce and I will do the chassis. Have to get it on a pallet for shipping.
Original color was Honda white, and so it will be again. I may violate the 100pt restore by adding BMW style twin pin stripes, red and blue. I have the original gold leaf tank emblems and the original seat, in good shape.
I bot some stainless steel repr mufflers years ago, they are hanging on the wall. The orig muffs are intact, but rusty pin holes.
I rode mine about 2000 miles before I parked it. A couple of overnight. out of state tours with soft bags and a luggage rack, and a small tank bag. Great bike!
