Stator Switch Wiring
« on: January 13, 2017, 10:27:56 PM »
Could use some help making sure I am wiring up my stator neutral switch correctly. This is the switch I am referring to:

Pretty sure the green bullet coming off the stator plugs into the rolled part on the left of the switch. Is that correct? Are there any additional wires that plug into it?

My pics from when this was installed originally are covered in grim. No clear view. Thanks

You've got that wrong. Your Green/Red NEUTRAL signal wire plugs into that rolled clamp. The stator GREEN goes to the REG/REC. The neutral switch has nothing to do with that aspect of the harness.

It would be fun to have the alternator only work in neutral, though!

Got it figured.

The wiring is new as I had the unit rebuilt by Ricks. They used a green wire I put a red sleeve on it for the switch that connects into the connector. (Missed the red sleeve at first which is what was throwing me off)

So they wire I though plugged into the sport I thought. Thanks guys
