Hello Gear Head and Honda lovers
« on: January 12, 2017, 11:51:44 AM »
My name is Jeff from Illinois, USA... was on one forum but their page lacked interest and I found this one. Read a few of the threads and was like yaaa. Any ways I have a small collection of bikes, I like to tinker with them and take parts off other bikes and Frankenstein them together, current project im working on right now is a 360T monster hardtail rat bike. Slow... process, needs some electrical work and carbs and over haul on motor.
I also have my beauty with is a 1970 Hybrid.... 750K bored to a 815. Last time it was on the road was 76 been in process of getting title work, also have to get aftermarket tank..old fiberglass with the alcohol in gas now eats away at it. Also have the clutch was struck so it has to be re-broken back in.

Happy builds and be safe!

as far as I believe it is low. But frame is marked as CB frame, not the pain is trying to find the title thur the state.  Bought it at a estate sale for $200 got the bill of sale and death certificate, that helps ask long as that owner had is registered to him and didn't title jump. Sweet iconic looking bike for that era.

A low number motor with close numbers on the frame may be worth some $$$ to a few around here ;)

You may be able to 'save' that tank by having it lined...............suggest a radiator repair shop.......usually affiliated with a good truck-repair center.

Illinois is 'tuff' on titles...............you may have to go through a bonded-title company.
