Newbie Resto CB750 K2 in Alberta Canada
« on: January 22, 2017, 02:54:20 PM »
Hey all,
I'm up in N. Alberta. In Jan, I just picked up a non running, lots of missing parts 1972 cb750K2 with K1 engine. ripping it apart to learn about how it all works then turn into some sort of runner.  this one will be a Franken Bike since it's missing so much, and it'll allow me to make all the learning mistakes for when I want to restore to original on the net project.

Looking to make some connections for tips tricks and advice. Especially where to get parts in Canada without going to the US for them!

look forward to chatting,
Mike

Welcome to the Board :)

Make a list of what you need and publish it on the parts-wanted page. You may just find a 'good neighbor' that travels across the border ;) I have an acquaintance in the eastern provinces that has purchased parts from me and had them shipped to his friend in Maine. He then picked them up to save a few bucks.

When you get more acquainted around here, post some pictures.

You are  brave man as I wouldn't want the bike due to all the work! But looking forward to the progress.
