powder coating
« on: November 12, 2006, 06:24:27 PM »
Today I had the greatest luck.  I went down to harbor freight just to look around and I bought a powder coating kit.  Heres the best part they mispriced there sale price at $35.  I jumped all over that.  Been looking online and they sell for around$120.  Just if anyone is wondering they do have them on sale for $59.99.  Cant beat the price.  Just thought I would share a little of my good fortune which rarely happens.  CHEERS .

How dose it work? Is this the one your talking about? http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=42802 Says you need 10 to 15 psi so doesn't that mean you need a huge industrial air compresser? Also wouldn't you need a oven ? would you be able to do it on a frame?
