Bahahaha!!! I had no clue about JWilde until I read this thread. I usually just search the archives for tidbits of info pertaining to my bike. Lots of funny #$%* happening here, including him lashing out at the end, classic internet troll style. Priceless.

I'm pressed for time right now and can't read all of this. I'll do it this evening as I sit in my second home which is located in Del Boca Vista.

To get there that quick you’ll probably have to go 85mph in second gear in your 350f.

Priceless.  That one still make me LOL.

What is priceless? The fact that I have a second home in Del Boca Vista?! I don't care for that remark! Good day Sir!

Forgot to mention your super model wife and some other drivel and link to an Instagram of you and provide an off topic photo of one of your bikes and talk about how well it runs...

He was banned on September 27th. On October first, an "EdWardT" from England joined using the same IP address and has never been active on the forum.
Nobody posts from that IP address but JW.

anyway, probably his neighbour is tim berners-lee who will set him up and give him 8 grand for the pleasure of doing so, just because he can and just because he thinks so highly of JW's contributions to motorcycle forums and on instagram.

He paints his bike like Scott, but I bet he tells everyone he thought up the paint scheme and its the only one.

I just copied the Japanese market CB750 scheme onto a 500/550. But I've had it for years.

I wonder if he's still doing 80 mph in second gear on a CB350 down the NY turnpike.

Just stumbled across this...so you've had the privilege of dealing with this character?  Over on the CB1100F.net, he's known as WowDad and has been telling us how wealthy he is, how he has a super model wife, multiple bikes, a card that gets him off the hook if he gets pulled over by a cop, etc. He loves to post "Look at me" pictures with skinny jeans, hipster boots, goofy helmets, and he has shown us shots of his Bentley steering wheel with his Rolex'd wrist on the wheel.  He owns at least 3 homes, is a jetsetter, and is one of the classiest guys he knows.

What became quite annoying is that he would ask for technical advice and ignore the good info he was given - over and over and over again...  On several occasions he brought his bike to hack mechanics who raked him over the coals and did shoddy work.  At one point, he wrapped the header pipes on his 900F and spray painted them fluorescent orange.  Now THAT got some comments!  When he threads went down in flames, he would edit the subject line to "Delete."  He also edited his own threads many times.

The moderator of the forum is very lenient and won't ban him.  Now that everyone is onto his game, he's told to F off by multiple members as soon as he starts a new thread.  He always tells the posters how they're sad old men with no testosterone that are angry and jealous of his success.  All of his threads end up in a special folder we have called "The Crapper."

The real kicker was when a thread was posted from his moniker to let everyone know that he was in the hospital in a coma with a brain bleed.  The person sending the update was supposedly a family member and asked everyone to pray for his recovery.  Some of the forum members fell for it and were posting good thoughts and wishes.  The timeline for his "injury" didn't line up with his previous post of the night before, so I knew it was a scam.  A day later he came back on and told us that his account had been hacked.  The moderator immediately checked and said it was interesting that the hacker used his IP address.  What kind of person does this?

I wonder if maybe this guy is institutionalized for periods of time and when he gets "better," they let him out.  That might explain the long periods of time in between posts and then the sudden reappearance with mostly ludicrous nonsense.

You're in good company guys.  He has provided some interesting entertainment.

Yep, exact same modus operandi that got him banned from here, the KZ forum, DoTheTon, The XS650 forum and more.

Maybe send the mods over there a link to this thread.

The moderator posted a link to a couple forums (including this one) "featuring" this character.  There is a recurring pattern for sure.

When I finished my CB1123 resto-mod, he offered me $30 grand for the bike.  I'm sure he was serious.  ::)

I found it sad that some people took him seriously even after all of his antics and they still tried to help him.  I mostly ignored him and just chuckled at his nonsense.  I have never known anyone like him, so it's been an interesting study in human nature.

I hope everyone here is well and coping well with the pandemic.  It's been surreal.

Loving to hate jwilde has taken up so much of our cerebral energy.  Myself included.  Every time I see the speedo hit 85.
