Respoking , help please!
« on: January 13, 2017, 09:06:18 PM »
Hi

I'm in a pickle. Its huge, green and acidic...

Long story short, do I have a problem here?

Im respoking a cb750a, but the 90degree outer spokes, that are threaded thru the hub, arent coming close to the hole, only to lip of rim. The inner are fine.

 anything look way off here?

I also had a problem with that brand from Taiwan. Didn't fit my CB750. The spoke nipples were also too large to fit the DID rims. The Taiwanese spoke manufacturer said to drill out my new rims?? Whilst that is possible, I was certainly not going to do that & have corrosion starting because I'd exposed the steel.

I ended up buying new spokes from Yamiya. The Yamiya spokes fitted no problem at all.

ok the rear outer seems to be whats wrong..they are 90 degrees .. i think it should be more like 85..even less maybe. so asking for refund on the rear.

Unless can I bend the 20 outer spokes precisely?

front, stoked with..
