Restoring Dashboard
« on: January 13, 2017, 08:06:22 AM »
Hey everyone , I am in the process of building an 81 Malibu Sport , new engine ( 350 ) new paint , refreshed interior , tires , rims etc . Its going to be a fast car . Si , instead of buying a Dash cover or new dash , I figured I would try and repair the one I have . Its faded , cracked , ugly . I have begun to repair the cracks with Gorilla Glue as its crazy strong and turns to foam , which the dash is actually made of . Here are some shots of the beginning

I have refinished everything in the interior so far , trim , door panels ,  the dash will be the most challenging to cover up the bad spots , we will see . I have positive feelings it will be awesome
