You must be seeking them under a few feet of snow.

How're backcountry conditions in the Northern Kingdom?

Excellent right now.. Only had a dusting of snow so far this winter. Today is first day of winter and I plan to ride to Montpelier over to Hardwick, my hometown, to Morrisville and return to St Albans where I live now.. What do you know of the NE Kingdom? Later.. Moe

I grew up in Southern New England (Connecticut) through HS.  Wife and I lived in Massachussetts for 5 years, and I used to go up to the NE Kingdom for a few days or week at a time to do some XC skiiing and just get away from the crowds.

The North Kingdom would definitely be a place to get away from the crowds. ;)  I lived in southern Vermont (Marlboro & Dummerston) for quite some time and miss it terribly.

Snowdigger, you've got me (now in upstate NY) feeling like quite a wimp.  My bike hasn't been out since the balmy weather.  ;D
