Battery Revival Advertising
« on: January 15, 2017, 10:55:17 AM »
Has anybody watched the on-line info about the revival of old batteries? It is one of these things that totally bug me. The guys say the same thing over and over without coming to the point. After watching the thing for 5 minutes and two consecutive speakers saying the same thing again and again, I left it. What are these things all about? They don't seem to sell anything, do they? Why are they dragging on and on. Has anybody had the patience to watch the thing to the end?

I dont know but I see machining videos where they call stuff impossible or new method... That is nothing to write home about..everyday stuff for some of us in the trade ..
And they film for minutes , what could be covered in 30 seconds..

Yeah Frank..

I've come to conclusion that many..if not most of the DIY videos are not to convey accurate information..as they are to let the narrators/presenters "mug" and have face time.  Figure it gives them a feeling of notoriety..I suspect.

Has anyone seen those stupid infomercials on things like natural remedies or miracle cures? They go on for 20 to 30 minutes..to eventually tell you that the product they sell is not only overpriced..but bogus as well.  I don't even bother to look at them further..after they get into that sort of vague and repetitive type of presentation (the one's with the narration accompanied by a real-time cartoon illustration are the worst).  Takes about 2 minutes to figure-out where they're going LOL!

When they finally get to the point they say how amazingly wonderful their
process is and that it lasts a month or so till the battery's service life is over.
I read about it in an article on the internet. It's total bu!!$h1t. A lot like the
people finder type sites, that keep you hanging on and  on till the very end,
then reveal that they want you to pay for the information
