76 CB750F brake caliper question

Is there any other more readily available caliper I can directly bolt on to my 750F? My bleeder screw broke off in my caliper. So it's over and done with.  Or is there a source for these? I don't want to buy some old crusty one to have this happen, again.

Is it just the bleeder you looking for?  The Speed Bleeders work great!

take a slow deep breath...then spray the heck out of the busted bleeder screw.  take a drill bit and drill the center just to rough it up from the spray and it will also generate some heat, then put an easy out into it and twist it out.  moving forward, that caliper is on the all of the later cb750 K and 75-76 F models...find one on ebay that looks better than yours. clean it, bead blast it, put in a new seal, clean up the best of the two pistons you now have , etc and you will have fine brakes for  a long time.....

On the K models as well? So the rear caliper is the same as the front? Or did you mean later as in 77 up K models (not sure when/if they switched to rear disc) I need to pick up an easy out with as much stuff that breaks on this bike.

If you can't get it out or want it done, send it to Speed Bleeder. For the price of a bleeder (~$10) they will remove it for you and install the Speed Bleeder. How can you beat that?!

Easy out - One of the worst pieces of Sh*t I ever spend money on. I have NEVER had a situation to use an easy out where that damned things actually worked. Usually they just make the situation worse. Don't waste your money on a set, save it for Ebay to get a new caliper.

This has been my experience the one or two times I borrowed one. I just attributed to operator error. I'm glad to hear others have had the same experience and it's not just me.

At $10 for a speed bleeder and the cost of shipping, I think I've found the best route to go. Now to track down a nice (preferably NEW) piston for the caliper.
