Topic: 500 four starter motor cable routing

Hi folks, can't work out where the cable from starter motor runs as it makes its way to the solenoid, there doesn't seem to be space beneath the sprocket cover, any ideas, pics, the cables from the alternator have there own routing but no space for the heavy starter cable , yes, I should have taken a pic when dissembling but hindsight is great :-)

It comes from the starter motor, outward and under the sprocket cover. Inside there, it routes along the underside of the top edge, outside the round "guard" exiting at the backside, then up. That cable and the stator bundle lay stacked top-to-bottom. There isn't room if they are side-by-side as they are too "thick". Make any better sense?

Eventually made sense of it, many thanks, the hole for the starter cable in the plastic insert that guides the cable where it enters the sprocket cover was full of grease so I didn't see it, all good noe, again, thanks, cheers,Wally...

there is a cabel routing diagram somvhere on forum..it gives posision all elektric and pull cabels.
.they can be a bir strange to get lined korrekt up..and to get/and hold korrekt funktion even the handel are turned full to both sides,,all stuff must be korrekt placed..
