I could not believe the Price the seller had on this exhaust setup for the SL350K0! Hope this link works. I haven't done this in awhile.

That seems a little excessive but yes good exhaust pipes for an SL350 can be a challenge.

I had seen where a good set of pipes, for the SL350K2 were up around a $1,000, a few years ago, but hadn't really seen the parts for the K0 being REALLY up there, except the air cleaner covers (Side Covers). A set of reproduction Covers for the K0, were like around $200, if I remember correctly. Sure makes it a "Challenge" for the average person, to build one up right.

I almost bought one last year till I saw what it may cost to get it worthy. Had one back in the day but the pipes were already rotted out even back then.  You have a couple of them correct Bill ?

Yeah, I have the '69 K0 & a '72 K2. The K2 had a aftermarket 2 into 1 exhaust system that doesn't turn up, like stock pipes do. I will try to get a picture of it later and post it up. The K2 is mainly just to kick around on, without worry of damage to "High Dollar" parts, you know? The previous K2 I had, was  in great shape and had a NICE set of pipes and I couldn't comfortably take it out for a spin, off road, because I was nervous about those pipes. And even my K0, isn't going to be a Perfect Restoration, as I just can't afford to do it and especially to have to pamper.  DO want to make the K0 as nice as I can, without going overboard.
