Well I was trying to make it sound like you're smarter than you apparently are for going out in that!  ;D

Maybe in a snowmobile or a dogsled.

I'm convinced that GV is part Yeti and has special powers to withstand freezing temperatures.  Apparently he can power wash and blast parts and go Uraling (not urinaling) in the snow.

I'm glad he can.  When it gets below about 80, I start shivering.

I took a ride in the high 50s (low mountains) on Sunday and that was frigid enough for me.

Way too cold for me anymore. Certainly you, Ron and I would never be able to hang with these young Polar Bears for all weather riding. Unless we drove my car!  ;D

I'm not saying it's blubber, because GV is s skinny little bugger, but maybe his blood is thicker from the arctic temps.

My guess is the various bourbons he's been consuming on his bourbon-tasting tours.   A bit of anti-freeze for the system.

Soon, he'll have some Salted Caramel to add to his gastrointestinal mixture.

LOL, you've obviously been talking or texting with Gennaro.  Yes, I found a liquor store today down by my office that actually carries them in stock so I bought a couple of bottles.  And I told him I'd ship him one out tomorrow.  Offer still stands for you, too if you'll PM me your address that can receive UPS or FedEx.

Well, there's good news and bad news.

First the bad news:  UPS and FedEx will not allow a non-liquor-dealer to ship liquor.  So I cannot send a bottle to either you or Gennaro.

But the good news is that means that Bill Benton received a bottle today as I drove it over to him.  He & I sampled a taste from it and after finishing the shot, his eyes got big and he said, "Damn...that's REALLY good!".  Oh...and that also means that I just have a couple of other extra bottles to take with me this weekend to the Ritz-Carlton Lake Oconee.

Yeah, well as I told Don:  I considered telling them that they were motorcycle parts because the boxes are already sealed with the contents wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap and about 1/2 pound of tape sealing the box.  But when you sign that little piece of paper about what the contents of the package are, there's a part that says that misrepresenting the contents is a federal offense.  Hell, I'd rather fly the thing out there myself than risk that.

Shipping booze across state lines is highly illegal. Dumb laws!

So, Nick, are you in the waiting room for your parts or are you also working on your frame mods and 32 amp charging system.

Just seeing if there's an update.

Just seeing if there's an update.

Head is in que with MRieck. Trans is at Fast by Gast and should be done any day now. Pistons came thursday. C5 came a little over a week ago, motogaget stuff should be in my hands this week sometime, have to order camchain and decide what to do for the tensioner. Need to grab a plastigauge to start checking clearances and I'm going to get the rotating assembly balanced.

Waiting on some steel for my frame jig, and then can start playing around with the geometry in CAD to design what I want to do with the frame. Have quite the backlog in customer work to get caught up on too so might be a bit before I have any BIG updates.

Well, small change of plans. Ran across a cool vintage speed part and decided with all the new tech I'm throwing at this bike it needs a link to the past so I snatched up an NOS yoshimure 122-00 camshaft for this!
