New Cylinder Break In Question

Installed a new jug and piston on my cb125S. Instructions that came with it said I should break it in by running it atleast 100 miles at no more than 1/3 throttle, varying rpm the whole time. 100 miles like that seems like it would be a real pain. Whats everyone's thoughts on this?

1/3 throttle sounds awfully conservative.  I'd keep it under 3/4.   Go for a couple long rides this weekend and knock out those 100 miles!

Varying the throttle and rpm's is the good idea, don't hold it steady for a long period.
