Retro dual disc
« on: January 28, 2017, 02:50:45 PM »
Aloha all
I've been planning my resto of my K3 which will  include a stock dual disc install. When one takes the caliper and mounts it on the right side the bleeder/hydraulic line locations are the opposite of the left side. Has anyone removed the "seat?" That is in the caliper to the other hole to restore symmetry? When I search for images of dual disc installs some seem to have done this, others have not. Is there a trick to this? I did this mod many years ago but I can't remember if I solved this issue (age thing).
Thank you in advance for any help.
