•   CB 500T Fuel tank, modified – flush cap setup by Roaring Toyz.

•   Front fender – 1986 Yamaha 750 Maxim – re-shaped for 18” wheel.

Absolutely stunning.  Perfect really.  I love bikes that look like they could have rolled out of the performance division of the factory.  Congrats on a spectacular build.

Not sure if it's just my eyes, but are the fork tubes a blackish/grey colour rather than the usual chrome? And are the exhaust clamps zinc chromate plated - if so, I'm curious as to how that type of plating holds up to heat cycles?

Oh, man! what everybody else said +1. That is one great looking bike. I especially like the look from top/back showing the black center.

I have just been at the IMS Show in Cleveland and this bike would have been a contender in the custom/cafe display.

Godffery,  That is a stunning restomod...very nice recreation/re-imagining. Replacing the K&S Turn signals with M-unit Blaze Pins or similar would be a nice touch.
Not familiar with 500T tank, curious why the large underside holes in the tunnel. Very clean and tidy modifications to the tank, you are masterful at doing hybrid tanks. I poked around several months ago on all the tanks you have restored and modified. Interesting collection. Imagine that is a pricey adventure too as it is very labor intensive...  What would we do without Cleco fasteners...they are great tools.  I really like how you modified the tail unit with the undercut form fitting molding. There for a bit I thought you were going to save the original tail unit doing the layup on top.

That fastener system for the tail/seat is pretty trick but I am not sure how you open it for access. The spring loaded latch I see and I really like how you fabbed up the hard mounts for the fiberglass and laminated them into the tail unit.
Were you using polyester or epoxy...  Just curious if you use West Systems, MGS, or other?  MGS has very low sensitivity incidents, they have taken pains to make it that way given so many people develop sensitivity/allergic reactions to epoxy systems after having worked with it for some time.  The gardening pad put to proper use for padding the fiberglass pan and not being the seat foam...

Love all the little details and very ingenious solutions.  Thanks for sharing the progress log and revealing the steps to the end result!

That is one of the nicest CB750's I have ever seen.....(jaw drop)... Absolutely beautiful, you can really tell how much you guys put into that bike....Mine is proving to be a lengthy process as well and with my son just turning one most of my wrenching is done in the pre-dawn hours...ha-ha. I hope to have something like this someday....truly a work of art. Awesome job Godffery....this is the type of stuff that inspires me.
