CB350F owners!
« on: October 24, 2006, 08:29:39 PM »
I now have a 73" CB350F for the Mrs. and was wondering if you had a reliable source for parts?

David Silver has a few things covered, but if you had any other sources I would greatly appreciate it!

The Biggest thing I'm looking for is a New Exhaust System! I have found the Mac 4-1, but was wondering if ther were any other options? NOS stock or repro would be nice.

Back in the early '80s one of the stamping machines for one of the 350F's exhaust pipes was broken (the #2 pipe, I THINK), and since demand for the bike and it's parts was nearly nil, no one bothered to replace it, so nowadays, getting a new 350F factory exhaust is well-nigh impossible.

NOS examples pop up on eBay, but they can command nearly $2000 or more.  I nearly bought a snotted out 500F for almost a grand that some guy had stuck new-ish 350F pipes on, clearly not knowing what they were.

AN alternative if you have the downpipes is to get some new silencers from MIVV.  They're an Italian firm and it ain't cheap, (but not too expensive either), but it gives you the proper 4-into-4 look and they even look a little better than the factory pipes.

I'm not sure if mty head pipes are original so I ended up ordering an exhaust from MAC, They were very helpful, and even gave me free shipping!

I ordered the Carb, ignition, and petcock parts from http://hondapartsdirect.reachlocal.net/default.asp I called to confirm availability, and they were very helpful as well.

Looks like the only problem so far is the rear sprocket! they are discontinued! so if anyone has a source please let me know!

I'm rebuilding a 350F as well. In addition to David Silver, there are these guys who are good but sometimes expensive: http://www.cmsnl.com/. E-Bay is quite good as well, and I'm always amazed to find out what is still available from the honda dealer. As for pipes, good luck. An original set will cost you a mint if you can find them. I haven't found a duplicate  4 into 4 so instead I went with the 4 into 1.

The MIVV link above.  As long as you have the factory header pipes, you're OK.

Could you post some pics of the Mac when you get it on? Also how much are the 4 mufflers from MIVV? I hit the link but didn't see any prices.

I wasn't sure if mine were original, so for under $300 I went with the mac

My pipes say "Alphabet Headers" on a sticker on the muffler.

I'm not sure on price, but it wasn't TOO bad.  Ask member loonymoon.  She has a 350F and put a set on.  They look good.

Hey when I had my 350f, I found out that the 400f was the same block and the 400f 4 into 1 is supposed to fit right on the 350. good luck

For parts try www.westernhillshonda.com but idealy you will need part numbers

Anyone sell the MIVV mufflers in the US? Also what about a Marshall Deeptone for a 350f? Anyone tried one?
