Author Topic: Can we tap vent line at end of #1 or #4 to bypass those tees between #1/2 & 3/4?  (Read 902 times)

... and just simply plug up the cylinder pairs straight in place of the original tees with an appropriate gas resistant tube, from the new barb fitting tube out to the air box or wherever it is supposed to go.

Do we know at the end of that channel, either at #1 or #4 it would be safe to drill a hole to throw in a barb fitting?

OR...

What about closing up the T's as described above and route it back to the air box from the tube connecting #2 and #3?  It won't vent as evenly as from the original T points but would that make much difference? Whatever excess fumage collects in  #1 and #4 will just pull through #2 and #3 anyway right?

Is this dangerous 'thinking outside of the box' or am I a genius? And don't hesitate to lie and butter me up. Thanks
