Regarding the points situation, I wonder if appealing to the sponsors themselves might have some pull?

Frank, next Super Eliminator race is June, 3, 4 weekend in Memphis! You ran 123.33 to my 123.27, not enough for a MPH record? Congratulations on your new ET record! We all had fun, several PB's for the guys. Feel bad for Wilbur,  current pts system is just wrong! Thanks for being there for us.Wilbur gets the Helping Hands award for the weekend except for....LMAO.

Scottly, that could be a good approach. But I feel if the proper person frames the racers position correctly to the Man Cup people by tying it directly to their financial bottom line, it could persuade them to revamp the system. The count was down in all classes. Something caused racers to stay away and it could be related to both the current points system and their decision to make 3 of the 5 races, double points events. One other complaint in the past relates to the event not being complete due to time constraints. Another thing to consider is a degree of uncertainty regarding our present political climate in regards to the proposed budget cuts that will affect many jobs/ businesses in a negative way. I'm not going to spend money if I don't know where my next paycheck is coming from.  We'll see by the next race if the count increases.

Frank, from the video footage that I saw, it wasn't just the racers that stayed away, spectator numbers looked a lot down as well. Your theory about the budget could be right as well but from looking at the video footage, spectator numbers have been declining quite a bit over the last few years.

Bill, when did you run that mph?? I somehow thought you ran 125 mph at the finals last season. I didn't fill out the mph side of the claim form at all this time. Truth is, mph is unimportant to me record wise. I'm trying to see how quick I can get down the track. Not how fast my bike runs.Memphis should bring some interesting things for both of us. I'm glad you got the bike running well. Hope to catch a few of the commerce races with you.

Yes ET is where it's at, MPH mostly a horsepower deal. Yes it's nice to be able to run Super E again. And the only double points for  S ET is Rockingham! See you at Commerce or Memphis. Hopefully one of us or both will set new records,  Bill

Frank, I ran 124.73, 124.33, 124.19 and another 124.xx, still waiting for 125 to pop up! But 10.2 would be  better!!

If your certificate was issued over 123.37mph, I can't claim that record this time. I'm confident the package in working on for the project bike will run over 125mph without nitrous and closer to 135-140 on spray.

Well, good for you, I look forward to seeing a 750 break 125 and seeing low 10's, or high 9's. Why, I can barely get one to run, I'm sure I won't be much competition......., but I'll bring my Patches engine or sumpin and try to keep you in sight. You still need cases? Let me know. Records will be broken in Memphis, maybe you can tow me to 60ft and then I'll do better. Lol. G'luck with your project,  Bill

Yes, I need cases or this goal of mine will not happen 😆. Open mouth, insert foot. Lol.

I'll call you tomorrow or the next day so we can talk about the engine/ cases.
As to getting one to run, you've proven how capable you are of making something happen in the past. I'm confident you'll sort out the package you have right now and it'll be on again.

I just read where Memphis International Raceway has announced a NASCAR event on June 3.
Is that gonna cramp our ManCup event by any chance? Is that facility and access roads able to handle both?

Medyo,  we ate at Interstate BBQ.  Here's a decent haul from Bill Hahn Jr.'s  stuff from Valdosta!,  42mm for the turbo, $400.00 for everything,  K. One of the things I enjoy from the racing, the swap meet stuff. Bill
