Raul, sad part is the diamond is the most common gemstone. Really. Debeers dumps thier crap right in the ocean. They guard it with patrol boats and BIG GUNS. They do this to drive up the diamond market. Works everytime.  :D ;D

I think I will charter a boat and sink some SOHC's  ;)  :D

I don't want to highjack this thread, but I just saw a documentary the other day and have to jump in. De Beers (and he thrifty jews behind) have been a monopoly for a long time and therefore deciding the price. The cost of extracting a diamond is huge, with a lot of material to be dug and processed. They have found out in some places under the sea there are diamonds, so ships like oil platforms suck the earth under the sea, process it and dump the processed earth again into the sea.

A diamond is a commodity, nobody needs one, but it has a price beyond the fact that is simple carbon. You need slaves in Africa to dig  :'(, security guards to transport it, jewelers to cut it and the jews to sell it. A lot of people making profit along the way -but the africans...-

I would argue that parts were more expensive before the internet, I know knowledge sure was. As for jews and diamonds... ??? ::)

Diamonds are a racket....DeBeers manipulates all aspects from modern slave labor to retail price. Carbon born of misery.

Hey Tom, I know exactly where your coming from! I saw a guy on here trying to find a $.99 bolt because He didn't want to pay the shipping from Honda!!! TIGHT A$$$$$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With minimum shipping costs around $7-$9 for a $0.99 bolt, I might ask around myself. Guess I'm a member of the "Tight @ss Club" myself.  ;) ;D
$7-$9 to ship a bolt???? $.39 max!! call another shop! That guy just pissed off his local Honda shop and they ran him off PERIOD!!!
The thing about common sense is that, it's not that common.

Terry...do you purchase anything in your country?? I'm beginning to think you buy your weekly groceries on ebay. ;)

Ha ha, I only buy mostly Ebay crap from the US Mike, although I have been lucky enough to buy a really neat head from your good self, not to mention some new CR29mm Carbs! (I need to talk to you about some other CB750 stuff too mate, ha ha!)

I have my hidden "slush fund" for such things, I don't like to think I'm tight, but if you re-read my previous post about helmet prices, you will understand why. With a population only 6.8% of the US and at the other end of the world, until the internet came along, Aussies were bent over for just about everything, but nowadays, at the stroke of just a couple of keys, I can buy things for the same price as you guys, except of course, I have to pay the shipping, but that's a small price to pay for living here, and buying there, ha ha! Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

The shipping charges I quoted were for someplace on-line like ServiceHonda. Sure,  I could go to my local HondaDealer, they don't ship, order it and get it free of shipping.. sort of. My dealer is 12 miles each way. At $0.45 per mile (IRS cost to drive a car 2 yrs. agoi), no deal there either.

I tell you what Bob, if you adopt me, I'll go pick that pesky bolt up for ya, no worries! Er, can I have the keys to the K0, Dad? ;D

Terry,

If I were going to adopt, I think I could do better.  ;D ;D Besides, I've heard about your riding and how you've been known to drag the cases in corners.  ;)

Well I'm crushed Bob, hell, I don't even have red hair? And anyway, that's what the cases are for, once you wear off the footpegs and stands, ha ha! ;D
