Mounting the pressure sender remotely will have no effect on oil flow to the bearings, but the tubing used to connect it should be small, like 4mm OD. Use plastic tubing designed for oil pressure gauges rather than copper, which can crack with fatigue. Any air trapped in the tube should be "burped" by loosening the fitting at the sender with the motor running; this may not be an issue with such a short tube, but I've seen trapped air cause false readings with long tubes. Be sure to ground the body of the sender.
