Ed,

I'm really pleased that Mark is making an effort to settle your situation.

It's a bummer the Dresda wasn't ready in time, I know you were working HARD on it, but there are many races left.

Great news about Mark, I'm really happy to hear he's making things good.

I saw that you were at Roebling, good on you. I hope to make the May 22nd event at NHIS. I think I did that one other year but cannot remember.....can we get in the pits Sunday evening? I need a shake down and they'll run regular classes just all on a Monday?

EDIT;  Also Ed, what kind of setup is Canaan, is the track finished (runoff & shoulders) and how are the facilities?  Thanks.

Yes, I'm also interested to know more about the May 22nd USCRA race.  Rookie class and general practice on Sunday I take it?

Yeah, I'm glad this is getting sorted out as well. We're a small community and quality relationships are very important. I spoke with Mark a couple of weeks ago on something I was looking for and happened to mention that there were some questions being posed on the board. He indicated at that time that he'd look into it. Evidently others also contacted him. Glad to see everything seems to be working out.

I'll post a different thread on what I got from Mark. It's kind of an interesting story...

Holy crap, how bout that!  8)

That mean Sam Green put the fear into McGrew.

Hope you fare as well Ed.

Hey guys, I don't want to take praise for this but I'm glad it has worked out for all or most of the members concerned including Mark himself.
I don't like to see members being done by a supplier and I don't like to hear of a supplier who is also a member here being slagged off on the forum by members without hearing the full story from all parties concerned.
All I did was have a civil word with Mark in private via Facebook, the last thing I wanted to see was another BRIMMER fiasco  ;D ;D exploding onto the Performance and racing forum.

I have been waiting over a year for Mark to send back my F3 block and Wiseco pistons.  If anyone comes into contact with Mark, please let him know that Doug in Washington is still waiting for Mark to be an honest man.

Sure seems to be a common theme. Hope you get your parts.

Good news. Sure have fond memories of RR.  Turn 5 my favorite,  decreasing radius and off camber! You could sure slide through it! ;D, Bill

Yes it has been positive with Mark since posting on SOHC forum. Which I was reluctant to do. However it had been 6 years of excuses and sad stories. I am relieved that others are getting squared away as well. Back to racing. Yes they have let us into NHMS on Sunday night at 6pm for the May 22 USCRA US Vintage Grand Prix. Canaan Motor Park is small track similar to Talladega. 1.3 mile road coarse which they run in both directions. Has very good run off. Not much elevation change. However quite challenging. There is no power there so if you need to tender your battery or run tire warmers bring a generator. Or i am quite sure someone will let you tap into there power source. Be great to see you at there cheers.

I'm glad things appear to have been sorted out.  Thanks to Sam for (almost certainly) making the difference in a faster resolution.

I ordered and received a cam chain tensioner about 4 years ago or more.  Good part, too.  I count my blessings that I didn't get lost in the shuffle.

while reading about Indian's win in the Daytona flat track race, came across this:
https://www.superbikeplanet.com/images-daytona-tt-dirt-track-race/ars750/
the name rang a bell, and yes, it's Mark's son...and i bet it's Mark actually doing all the machine work to keep that rare RS750 alive. Looks like flat track has been taking all of his time & energy in the last few years.. no problem, but just tell your clients you moved away from road racing so people just know...
am a bit of a M3 victim too, sent him quite few years ago a set of my cast engine covers for a 500 or 550 race  engine he was building for someone. never received a penny or even a thank you for that... wonder if that engine was ever delivered. I remember that the guy complained in sohc4 back at the time and soon after mark "disappeared"
